I am pleased to announce that Lorna’s book is finished and ready for publication.
Yesterday, I finished the final review of the book For the Love of Lorna, featuring her life story. After nearly a year of work—composing and laying out pages, accomplishing a major re-edit, and performing several proofreads—the volume is now complete.
I eagerly look forward to getting a printed copy into your hands. With that in mind, I will place the first order this coming Thursday.
This first order will include all copies for distribution in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. (A second order will be placed in late September/early October. However, it will be printed and shipped in England and will only be for those who live in the UK or Europe.)
So, if you live in the United States, the Caribbean, or Canada, and would prefer one of the premium hard cover editions, please let me know your preference before Thursday, if you haven’t done so already. (Details on the covers and a convenient request form are found on the sidebar of this blog. Just click on the book icon.)
For those who will receive a copy of the book from the first order (US, Canada, Caribbean) and who have requested one of the premium covers, I will email you in the next few days with details on options for sending me the funds to cover the modest cost difference.
If you live in the UK or Europe, you have a little more time. I will coincide the second printing with my visit to the UK in October. I will alert you before I place that order.
Once the first distribution is well underway, I will make the e-book version available for free download to all registered readers of Lorna’s blog. (Registration is also free.)
After all of the books have been distributed, I have no plan to do a third printing. But, when we reach that point, I will post a link on the blog for anyone who wishes to order a copy directly from the publisher at the standard cost per book.
I appreciate your interest in reading the life story of our wonderful Lorna. I hope you find it as inspiring, uplifting—and sometimes humorous—as I do.
Thank you for thinking about Lorna.
